Fashion: New Goodies

I thought I would show you all a couple things that I think are really cute, or my new "goodies."

I got this floral buttoned shirt from Zara in the sale rack and am unable to find it online. This is the shirt, (V-neck shirt) but not in the floral pattern. Since it is still snowy and cold,

This shirt is from Van Heusen, also on sale (I'm pretty sure everything on here is sale) and can't find it online. I love the color and lace detailing, this is also a cute shirt for springtime.

These pants are so different, and that is why I love them so much! The checked pattern is so out there, but since it is black and white, I can wear this with basically any color top (from Nordstrom).

Another top onsale from Zara. I have a sweater just like it here since I can't find the exact one.

This I also got onsale from Nordstrom, and can't find it online. The scarf is perfect for spring!

My first oxford from Van Heusen. I love the white, it is so classic and will go with everything.

Check me out on Instagram @fabricandfudge to see what I'm up to, and also some OOTD's (outfit of the day's). I am also avidly pinning in my downtime on Pinterest. Finally, if you would like to contact me for anything, whether it be requests, questions, etc., email me at fabricandfudge@gmail.com.

Favorites: Pinteresters

Pinterest is definitely my addiction. I use it whenever I have free time, and whenever I don't (I am very guilty of procrastination). I want to share with you all my favorite Pinteresters (if that is a word...). Pinning things onto boards makes you feel so creative and sometimes I feel as though I own some of the stuff, but I usually can't afford any of it. So here are my top favorite people on Pinterest!

Oh So Lovely Vintage are two lovely women from Winnipeg who also run a blog. I recently discovered them, and I love their posts. Another amazing thing about their Pinterest is the names of their boards, they are so cute and creative!

Sweet Little Photographs not only post some of their beautiful pictures, but also pin other miscellaneous pictures too.

Keegan Adriance is another new find, in love.

Sarah Belle is the typical preppy girl's favorite Youtuber, Pinterester, Instagramer, and overall favorite person. Although I am not considered very "preppy" I do love the style, especially Sarah Belle's.

Caitlin Cawley has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I may or may not pin all of her stuff..., that's a slight exaggeration, but trust me if you follow her you will want to pin everything!

Since this post is about Pinterest, make sure to follow me at http://www.pinterest.com/esherm88/.

Until next time,
Eliza

Weekly Wishes: February 3rd-9th

I am thinking of doing this post on Sunday's, I like the idea of showing you guys cute little things (well not so little in price) that I have found this week while procrastinating, let me know what you think.
Since I recently started blogging and obsessing over other blogs, I wanted to share a few goodies I have seen that are oh so cute

1. 8 inch Bean Boots these are sold out until April..., but I still obsess over them in every picture I see
2. Jack Rogers Classic Navajo Sandals in Bone White: I never understood the obsession with Jacks until I saw a picture on Pinterest, now I'm hooked.
3. Kiel James Patrick Dapper Huey Bow Bracelet: I know this is really expensive for a bracelet, but I saw it on the blog Preppy By the Sea (check them out, their posts are great) and it's absolutely beautiful
4. Lori Leigh Designs Key Lime Traveler: while reading another blog A Lonestar State of Southern (I love her posts too, especially because she is from Texas and I love Texas!) I came across this item. I absolutely love the idea of having a jewelry box for traveling, and this one is so cute.
5. Fraternity Collection Long Sleeve Shirt: I know this is expensive for a tshirt, and there are a ton of great ones on Etsy, but I really love the idea of a good quality tshirt that will last you a long time.
6. Kate Spade's This is the Year to Idiom Bangle: I was searching on the Kate Spade website (I basically was online window shopping) and came across this bracelet. I love the message it puts across, that you should try new things in this new year. I really believe in what it is saying and just had to share it with you all!
7. J.Crew pajama set with pocket crest: I have recently been getting into cute pajamas (I am writing this in my cupcake pjs right now!) and found these adorable J.Crew pjs while again, window shopping the J.Crew website.

I have started to post more on Instagram @fabricandfudge, I have found a whole community of bloggers who love the same things as me!

I am loving blogging and reading blogs, if you have any favorites, let me know at fabricandfudge@gmail.com. I am so happy I started this blog, I am almost at 300 views, it's great to know that people are actually reading it. Blogging has made me really happy, and I love how I can just pour out what I am thinking (well type, not pour), or post my outfits on here for you to see. It's been a great experience so far, and I am so happy for what is to come later!

Until next time,

Makeup Tutorial: Versatile Look

A few of you guys requested a makeup tutorial. If I decide to wear eye makeup, this is what I typically wear. This look is very versatile and can be worn to school, out to dinner, or even a school dance.

First: Prep your face.
Maybelline Baby Skin to prime my face and get rid of any pores
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer to cover up any acne and my dark circles
Urban Decay double ended shadow/blending brush(from the Naked 3 palette) to apply the concealer
Maybelline Fit Me Powder for powder
Eco Tools Bamboo Powder Brush to apply powder
Urban Decay Primer Potion to prime eyes for eyeshadow

Next: Eye Makeup
1.) Apply Stila's Kitten Eyeshadow on the lid of your eye (mine is from the In The Light Palette) with an eyeshader brush like the Eco Tools Bamboo Eye Shading Brush
2.) Apply Urban Decay's Factory (from the Naked 3 palette) in the crease and outer corner with a crease brush like the Sonia Kashuk Large Crease Brush. Blend the brown crease shadow so that there are no harsh lines with a blending brush like the Sonia Kashuk Pointed Blending Brush
3.) Apply Urban Decay's Strange (from the Naked 3 palette) with a brush (mine is from Bobbi Brown)
4.) Curl eyelashes (Revlon Extra Curl Eyelash Curler) apply mascara (Benefit They're Real Mascara on top lashes; Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara on bottom lashes)

Finally: Lips

Used Blistex to moisturize and Mac Lipstick in Myth

I hope you liked this look! I tried my best to take good quality pictures of my eyes but ya know, taking a picture of yourself is kind of hard! It took me quite a few days to create so let me know what you think, I hope you enjoy :)

My Thoughts: The Future

Recently in business class at school we had to make a powerpoint document with no words besides our name, and a number of pictures. The pictures were to portray different aspects of our future such as what we thought our family was to look like, where we were going to live, what we were going to do for work, etc. I had always thought about where I was going to live and what I was going to do. I believed that I wanted to live in Paris or Texas (two completely different places, I know), that I wanted to have 3 kids, and to work in marketing. Once I read the requirements of what pictures should be on the document, and that it had to be realistic, I was completely stuck. To be honest, I know I would never live in Paris, but it is a nice dream to have. I also had no idea what I wanted to do for work. When doing career research quizzes last semester, I learned that I wanted to be a number of jobs. After talking to my mom who has been through a number of careers, I learned that it's okay to have a lot of jobs in your life. I now know that I have absolutely no idea what I want to be in life, where I want to live, and what my family will be like. I also know that it's okay to not know these things. I am only 15 once in my life and I need to focus on things that 15 year olds do, not things that young adults do. While it is great to dream, it is also necessary to keep your feet on the ground and remember that the future is the future for a reason. I am supposed to live in the present, for I never know if there will be  future. I know this post is very cliché and typical, but I felt the need to share my thoughts about the future with you all.

If you have an questions or if you need anything, just shoot me an email at fabricandfudge@gmail.com, follow me on Pinterest, and Instagram @fabricandfudge. I just got a Twitter, I feel like it will be a nice way to communicate with you guys! It is @fabricandfudge.
